Description
English: Racine, Wis. (Jul. 25, 2003) – Rear Admiral Ann E. Rondeau, Commander, Naval Service Training Command (NSTC), speaks at Captain Laurel Clark's Memorial Fountain dedication in Racine. A "dancing waters" fountain on the shore of Lake Michigan was dedicated in the honor of Dr. Laura S. Clark. In e-mail messages from space, Astronaut Clark often spoke of seeing Lake Michigan on whose shores her hometown lies. Clark was one of the seven astronauts who died aboard the space shuttle Columbia on February 1, 2003. U.S. Navy photo by Photographer's Mate 1st class Michael Worner. (RELEASED)
