 | Note: This historical image is not a factually accurate paleontological restoration. Reason: A recent description of the skeleton of Postosuchus (Weinbaum, 2013) gives strong evidence that Postosuchus walked on two legs as an obligate biped. Based on the skeletal diagram in the paper, the forelimbs seem to be drawn too large in this restoration. In addition, the skull is not the right shape (it should be shorter with a more convex margin to the snout), and the feet are also too large. |
