Description

Rainier Beer ad in Polk's Seattle City Directory 1899. Text and picture. Text at top of page says "The best tonic is" followed by a large picture of a Rainier Beer bottle. Below the bottle, it says:

A Pure, Light, Delicious, Healthful Beer, that invigorates and strengthens, aids digestion, and produces sound and refreshing sleep. / Case of two doz. Half-Pints delivered = $1.00 / Case of two doz. Pints delivered = $1.60 / Case of two doz. Quarts delivered = $2.70 / Case of one doz. Quarts delivered = $1.35 / These prices are for the beer only; the bottles belong to us. / SEATTLE BREWING & MALTING CO. / Phone Rainier 30 / Breweres, Bottlers and Exporters of Fine Beers.
