Description
English: An incident in China in which local Chinese found a damaged rail line between Hangzhou and Shanghai at 7:30 a.m. April 17, 1938 and informed the railroad guard. The train crew and Chinese workers worked together to repair it, and within 15 minutes the train left for Shanghai safely. (The steam locomotive, number 79632, is a Japanese Class 9600 sent to China.)
