Seattle's Piers 13 & 14 (now 69 & 70) on Seattle's Central Waterfront in 1934, shortly before a seawall was built. The SS Eleanor Christenson, shown here, was later the SS Pan Atlantic, one of the casualties of Convoy PQ-17.
