- A search for renewal was done at copyright.gov. There were no listings for The Times in Shreveport or any renewals listed for Associated Press with an original date of 1959. There's no evidence of current copyright for the photo.
- I happened to see that I made a mistake when uploading the original, as there's no back of photo link and these aren't archived links. Since this was done more than 2 years ago, the original links are no longer at eBay. The license has been changed to copyright not renewed on the basis of the search above.
