English: From an 1860 article about the Hunterian Museum in Once a Week magazine, volume 3, page 626. This illustration is captioned "Skull of lowest type of man" and placed next to an illustration of a gorilla skull; the article remarks, "[B]etween the skull of the most debased tribe of mankind, and that of the highest ape, the difference is immense."
