Română: Descrierea stemei:

Stema comunei Sărmaș, potrivit anexei nr. 1.2, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat și despicat.

În partea superioară, în câmp de aur, se află o creangă de brad verde cu cinci conuri maro.

În partea inferioară, în dreapta, în câmp verde, se află un buștean orientat față-profil și un joagăr înfipt în trunchi, în secțiune, totul de aur.

În partea inferioară, în stânga, în câmp roșu, se află un mănunchi de patru spice și un porumb, totul de aur.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Semnificațiile elementelor însumate

Creanga de brad simbolizează bogăția silvică a zonei.

Bușteanul cu joagăr fac referire la una din ocupațiile de bază ale locuitorilor, prelucrarea lemnului.

Grâul și porumbul reprezintă ponderea importantă pe care a avut-o agricultura în economia localității.

Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.
