Summary[edit]

Description
English: Coat of arms of Doștat commune, according to annex no. 1.3, consists of a triangular shield with rounded edges, with a red field and gold border. In the red field of the shield is a silver citadel surmounted by five oak leaves with gold acorns. The shield is surmounted by a silver mural crown with a crenellated tower. The meanings of the elements added up: The citadel attests to the antiquity of the locality, and the oak leaves symbolize the forest wealth of the area. The mural crown with a crenellated tower signifies the fact that the locality has the status of a commune.
Română: Stema comunei Doștat, potrivit anexei nr. 1.3, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, cu un câmp de culoare rosie si bordură de aur. În câmpul rosu al scutului se află o cetate de argint, care are deasupra cinci frunze de stejar cu ghinde de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat. Semnificatiile elementelor însumate: Cetatea atestă vechimea localitătii, iar frunzele de stejar simbolizează bogătia silvică a zonei. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
