Description
English: Coat of arms of Ciuruleasa commune, according to annex no. 1, consists of a triangular shield with rounded edges, cut and split in the lower part. In the upper part, on a red background, there is a silver rock, emerging from the green terrace. In the lower right, in the silver field, is a green fir tree. At lower left, in blue field, is a silver cattle's head. The shield is stamped with a silver mural crown with a crenellated tower. The meanings of the elements summed up: The silver rock represents the Vâlcan mountain in the locality and the activity specific to the area, the processing of limestone. The fir tree symbolizes the forest wealth of the area. The head of cattle refers to the basic occupation of the inhabitants, raising animals. The mural crown with a crenellated tower signifies the fact that the locality has the status of a commune.
Română: Stema comunei Ciuruleasa, potrivit anexei nr. 1, se compune dintr-un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat şi despicat în partea inferioară. În partea superioară, pe fond roşu, se află o stâncă de argint, ieşind din terasa verde. În partea inferioară, în dreapta, în câmp de argint, se află un brad verde. În partea inferioară, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află un cap de bovină de argint. Scutul este timbrat cu o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat. Semnificaţiile elementelor însumate: Stânca de argint reprezintă muntele Vâlcan din localitate şi activitatea specifică zonei, prelucrarea pietrei de calcar. Bradul simbolizează bogăţia silvică a zonei. Capul de bovină face referire la ocupaţia de bază a locuitorilor, creşterea animalelor. Coroana murală cu un turn crenelat semnifică faptul că localitatea are rangul de comună.

Therefore this image is assumed to be in the public domain worldwide, although some of the above categories may be subject to usage restrictions within Romania.
