| Description |
English: Police Instructor Driver training on the football pitches of the Ghana Police College in Accra, Ghana. The instructors trained here were then assigned to help prepare Ghanaian police officers for deployment on UN and AU peace operations. Here they are driving on an obstacle course to learn quick reactions in slippery conditions. Français : Cours de conduite pour policiers de la police ghanéenne. Ce cours visait à former des instructeurs de conduite qui ensuite formeraient des policiers ghanéens sélectionnés pour une mission de paix de l'ONU ou de l'UA. Ici ils apprennent à manoeuvrer et à réagir sur terrain sablonneux. |

Taken by Denis Vermeirre during the course given by Canadian instructors from the Pearson Peacekeeping Centre, on behalf of the Government of Canada. The kids who normally use the field had to play elsewhere. As a thank you , I gave them a few footballs to play when we were done.
