Summary[edit]
DescriptionQueen's Mill, King's Mill Lane, Huddersfield - geograph.org.uk - 701933.jpg |
English: Queen's Mill, King's Mill Lane, Huddersfield Stanley Walker has identified this as Queen's mill. It was pretty rough back then and may not survive. Photographed from beside the River Colne near Firth Street. A local said I was the second person in short order to photograph from that spot. I believe the first was the late George Cooper. George's large collection of IA (industrial archaeology) photographs (mainly stationary steam power) is preserved at the RCHM(E), Swindon. |
