Description
Français : Plan de la Mosquée Al Quaraouiyine, crée à partir du plan dessiné par E. Pauty (Edmond Pauty, 1923, "Le plan de l’Université Qarawiyin à Fès", Hespéris, IV) qui a été adapté et republié par nombre d'auteurs, en particulier Henri Terrasse. J'ai pris la version de Terrasse (1957, La Mosquée d'Al-Qarawīyīn à Fès et l'Art des Almoravides), fait un peu de ménage et je l'ai modifié légèrement dans les détails. Le plan ne présente pas les aménagements les plus récents du 20e siècle dans les structures annexes de la mosquée (e.g. la bilbiothèque), mais le plan de la mosquée elle-même est bien établi et n'a pas vraiment changé. Les noms des différents éléments (portes, etc) sont ceux que Terrasse a utilisé, mais avec parfois une transcription un peu différente (plutôt la transcription anglaise; e.g. Bab al-Shama'in est plus souvent transcrit Bab Chemmaïne en français).
