English: The Pura Belpré Award for excellence in literature for children and young adults that portrays, affirms, and celebrates the Latino experience, created and sponsored by REFORMA, ALSC, and YALSA, presents the awards to winning authors and illustrators during a ceremony that takes place during the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference. The 2023 "Celebración" took place at the Palmer House Hotel in Chicago, June 2023. |
