Español: Este manuscrito de 1465, perteneció a la duquesa de Calabria, Ippolita Maria Sforza. Tras su boda con Alfonso de Aragón, duque de Calabria, se llevó a Nápoles catorce manuscritos como parte de su dote. De estos códices, se conservan dos en la Universidad de Valencia, el Ms. 49 y este Ms. 891 que contiene las obras de Virgilio. Este códice es uno de los más bellos manuscritos del miniaturista conocido como el Maestro de Ippolita Sforza.
Decoración: en el frontispicio (folio 1r) aparece la inicial P con la imagen de Ippolita en el interior acompañada de un ave fénix, emblema de la inmortalidad y de la resurrección. Todo el manuscrito presenta unas iniciales, bellamente miniadas que ilustran las obras de Virgilio. 328 folios. 433 x 280 mm, encuadernación 450 x 310 mm. Transcribe las Bucólicas, Geórgicas y la Eneida. Escritura humanística antigua sobre vitela. Idioma: latín. Colección Duque de Calabria. Biblioteca Histórica. Després de la seva casament amb Alfons d'Aragó, duc de Calàbria, es va dur a Nàpols catorze manuscrits com a part del seu dot. D'aquests còdexs, es conserven dos a la Universitat de València, el Ms. 49 i aquest Ms. 891 que conté les obres de Virgili. Aquest còdex és un dels més bells manuscrits del miniaturista conegut com el Mestre de Ippolita Sforza.

After his wedding with Alfonso de Aragón, Duke of Calabria, fourteen manuscripts were taken to Naples as part of his dowry. Of these codices, two are preserved in the University of Valencia, Ms. 49 and this Ms. 891 that contains the works of Virgil. This codex is one of the most beautiful manuscripts of the miniaturist known as the Master of Ippolita Sforza.
