Deutsch: Pterodactylus antiquus (Soemmerring, 1812) aus dem Oberjura von Eichstätt in Bayern (Deutschland) in Fundlage. Dieses Stück war der erste wissenschaftlich untersuchte Flugsaurier und wurde 1784 von Cosimo Alessandro Collini (1727-1806) beschrieben.
English: Pterodactylus antiquus (Soemmerring, 1812) from the Upper Jurassic of Eichstätt (Bavaria (Bayern), Germany) in original position. This specimen was the first pterosaur ever studied scientifically and was described 1784 by Cosimo Alessandro Collini (1727-1806).
