فارسی: زاینده‌رود، بزرگ‌ترین و پرآب‌ترین رودخانه فلات مرکزی ایران است که از کوه‌های زاگرس مرکزی به ویژه زردکوه در استان چهارمحال و بختیاری سرچشمه گرفته و در دشت مرکزی ایران به سمت شرق پیش می‌رود تا در نهایت به تالاب گاوخونی می‌ریزد.
English: Zayanderud, also spelled as Zayandeh-Rood or Zayanderood, is the largest river of the Iranian Plateau in central Iran.
العربية: نهر يعبر مدينة اصفهان ثاني مدن إيران وهو أهم أنهار إيران الداخلية ومصدر مياه هذا النهر عين ديمه وقناة كوهرنگ والتي حفرت في جبال زردكوه لتحويل جزء من منابع نهر قارون لزيادة مياه النهر.
