Description Photo credit: Chris Wonderly/BLM The Painted Rock Petroglyph Site is considered important and even sacred to many of the Native American tribes in southern Arizona. Please keep this in mind when you visit and be respectful. Marking on rocks is prohibited today. Help protect the petroglyphs by staying on the path and observing signs in the area.
