| Description |
English: Garri is made when the fine and smooth parts of the drained cassava in the bowl were fried. This is done by using firewood and the local frying pan. While frying, a turner is used to move the fine and smooth parts of the cassava in the frying pan. This is done for effective frying and proper drying of this part of cassava.
All these processes on the cassava are done to reduce the cyanogenic glycoside in cassava and in the production of Garri. Other things can be gotten from cassava, and they have their own processes. Cassava is a good source of carbohydrates, providing energy to the body when consumed.
