English: Princess Gardens, Torquay. A bed of primulas in the gardens, which run alongside Torbay Road. "The Gardens take their name from Princess Louise, the then Princess Royal and fourth daughter of Queen Victoria, who in May 1890 laid the foundation stone for the "pleasure ground" and Promenade Pier ...
