Description
Deutsch: Neues Diözesanmuseum Freising beim Einrichten im halbfertigen Zustand, mit ersten Ausstellungsstücken
Deutsch: Sieben Passionsbilder aus der abgebrochenen Peterskapelle auf dem Freisinger Domberg (ursprünglich wohl aus dem Dom),
Öl/Holz, Freising um 1490, Werkstatt des Meisters der Freisinger Heimsuchung (Sigmund Huetter) = Meister von Freising-Neustift,
Freising, Diözesanmuseum.
„Aus der Zeit um 1500 sind Kreuzwege mit sieben bis neun Stationen bekannt, die ihr Ziel in einer maßstäblich abweichenden Schlußszene (Kreuzigung, Hl. Grab) hatten.“ Im Freisinger Dom war das wohl das 1493 errichtete Heilige Grab von Erasmus Grasser.
