English: Portrait of Louis, Dauphin of France (1729–1765), misidentified with a Spanish monarch.
Italiano: "Ritratto di sovrano spagnolo (?).
STMD - Descrizione: Colomba su croce di Malta Dall'inventario del 1881 si apprende che questo dipinto era in deposito nel Regio Guardamobili nel Palazzo Vecchio; nel 1911 è rilevato al terzo piano del Palazzo nella Foresteria ed infine si evince che nel 1966 questo dipinto stava nell'Appartamento del Re al piano terreno del Palazzo e precisamente nella sala denominata "dell'alcova". Tuttavia il soggetto ritratto non è un sovrano di Spagna, come riferiscono gli inventari, ; In mancanza di precisi dati documentari la datazione qui proposta si basa semplicemente sull'analisi stilistica e tecnica del dipinto."
