DescriptionPreserved Routemaster bus RM1000 (100 BXL), route 159 last day, 9 December 2005.jpg |
English: A detail shot of the offside front wheel area of preserved Routemaster bus RM1000 (reg. 100 BXL). This is just below the driver's cab, with the lower portion of his sliding door in view. He gets in using the step. The HT is the garage code for Holloway. 35 would be the running number of a particular duty from there. It's pictured here somewhere in London running along the route of London Buses route 159 as a private vehicle (ie not in passenger service), one of several doing the same to mark the last day of non-heritage Routemaster operation in London. |
