Summary[edit]

Description

Marwan, aged 5, looks on as his father makes some improvements to their temporary shelter in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley. They are from near Aleppo in Syria, but became refugees earlier this year when fighting came to their village, and they fled to Lebanon.

Marwan's dad is worried that their temporary makeshift shelter won't stand the coming winter although they're received some additional plastic sheeting from Save the Children as part of a UK-funded project.

The UK will provide winter tents, warm clothing and heaters as part of an allocation of nearly £90 million to help hundreds of thousands of Syrians, especially children, cope with the onset of winter.
