| Description |
English: Power to the island. This pair of diamond-shaped signs indicate (to shipping) the position of the cable which passes under the Swale taking electricity to the Isle of Sheppey. The power lines cross Chetney Marshes in the background on fairly short wooden poles, dwarfed by the pylons taking power to cross the Medway via a cable tunnel. See also 256662 for context. |
