Summary[edit]

Description
English: A PowerDsine 3524G gigabit 24-port PoE injector provides up to 450 Watts of power to a large number of devices. The device itself is quite simple, with just three components: A COTS power supply, a 48 V input switcher for a fail-over 48 V DC input (not populated), and the main board, which has just a small 8-bit microcontroller. The actual PoE signalling, monitoring and switching is implemented with just two chips, each handling 12 ports.
