Postmedieval Mary groat rev
Description
English: A Medieval hammered silver groat of Queen Mary circa 1553-54. A very worn and flan damaged coin. Obverse has crowned bust facing left with an inscription (MARIA DG ANG_ _ _ __ _ _ B REG _) there is a pomegranate mintmark after Maria. The reverse has a shield bearing the royal arms beneath a cross and the inscription ( _ _ _ ITA STEM PORIS FILI _ ) there is a pomegranate mark before Temporis
