Post Medieval - Buckle - Double 'D'
Description
English: A cast double loop copper alloy buckle from the early part of the 17th century (1600-50). The buckle sides are in the form of a double saddle, meeting at the central bar and has plain semi circular ends. Although cast, the upper surface has signs of having been finished with a file to further define the features.

The surface has a smooth dark green pantina.
