Post Medieval - 'D' Shape - Buckle
Description
English: This is a copper alloy, cast 'D' shape buckle, probably of 16th to 17thth century origin. From the cross bar it has symmetrical saddle shaped extensions leading to a central, notched pin rest with three groves, resembling an 'arrowhead'. Some ferrous staining is evident on the cross bar and the pin rest, the pin is missing.
