Description
English: A post-medieval silver fourpence of George III, dated 1763. Very worn and abraded, with a circular piercing at 12 o'clock. Obverse: bust right, with inscription GEORGIVS III DEI GRATIA. Reverse: crowned 4 in the central field, crown reaching to the edge of the flan. The inscription reads MAG BRI FR ET HIB REX, starting at 2 o'clock, with the date 17 / 63 broken by the crown.
