Nederlands: Portret van Pieter de la Court (1618-85). Fabrikant en lakenreder, eerst te Leiden, vanaf 1673 te Amsterdam, politiek pamflettist. Kniestuk zittend in een leunstoel in een zwarte toga, naar rechts. Op de achtergrond een buste van Socrates in een nis. Pendant van SK-A-2244.
