"Personaggi: principessa francese. Abbigliamento: abito scollato con finiture in pizzo; lungo manto a fondo blu con gigli dorati rivestito in ermellino. Fiori. Oggetti: anfora su piedistallo.

Ricordato nell'Inventario del 1861 al n. 3170 il dipinto si trovava in una stanza indicata col numero 125. Non viene menzionato il nome del personaggio che potrebbe essere verosimilmente una delle sorelle di Luisa Elisabetta di Francia, moglie di Don Filippo di Borbone. Elementi stilistici come il volto alla Nattier e il gusto fiammingo per i particolari lo fanno ritenere un dipinto di scuola francese. I tratti troppo insistiti del panneggio e una certa stanchezza di esecuzione riconducono il ritratto ad una bottega minore."
