Description

English: Porcelain figurines. The seasons.

Svenska: Gruppen av fyra ungdomar representerande årstiderna stående på varsin rund ihålig fotplatta med ett hål på undersidan samt tre s.k patch-marks. Dekor i färger och guld på glasyren. De utgör fyra kopior av åtta kopierade av Derby från en modell tillverkad i Tournai omkring 1760 av modellören N.J.F Gauron efter teckningar av Boucher. Gauron som arbetat vid Tournai kom till England omkring 1770 för att istället arbeta hos William Duesbury i Derby där han reproducerade en del av sina tidigare modeller. Våren: Gosse med blommor i händerna. Sommar: Flicka som håller en sädeskärve. Hösten: Flicka med korg fylld med vindruvor. Vintern: Gosse bärande ett grenvedsknippe på högra axeln. Fabriken grundlagd i Chelsea under 1740-talet men stod under åren 1770-1784 under samma ledning som fabriken i Derby. Pris: 1.200kr. Se Huvudbok (hushållskonto) Betalda jan 1922.
