Description |
Nederlands: De pop, die een Samische vrouw voorstelt, is gemaakt van plastic. Op bestelling gemaakt door Ellen Oskal Siri uit Sørreisa, Noorwegen, die een huisvlijtwinkeltje heeft. De pop die eigenlijk voor het het museum bestemd was, was door een Sami chreche gekocht.
De pop heeft donkerbruin haar in twee vlechten, vastgemaakt met twee oranje linten. Deze pop is aangekleed in de vrouwendracht zoals die tussen 1980 en 2000 gedragen wordt door Samische vrouwen in de streek rond Kautokeino. Het is een doordeweekse dracht, maar wordt ook gedragen op feestdagen. Typerend is de wollen rode muts, versierd met gekleurde sierbanden. De blauwe wollen jurk (kufte) is sterk geplooid.De mouwen zijn afgezet met rode wollen manchetten. De pop draagt een blauwe maillot en Samische leren laarzen, die zijn dichtgebonden met schoenbanden (skallaband). De sjaal is van wit synthetisch materiaal gemaakt en op twee plaatsen vastgezet met goudkleurige veiligheidsspeldjes. Witte (of anders gekleurde) omslagdoeken kopen de Saami in de plaatselijke winkels. Een pop als deze wordt gebruikt als kinderspeelgoed in een Samische crèche in Kautokeino. Door de klederdracht krijgt deze Samsiche pop een extra opvoedkundige en identiteitsbevestigende waarde. Gewoonlijk spelen de kinderen met westers aangeklede poppen. Vroeger was het echter gewoon dat Samische kleertjes gemaakt werden.Op die n\manier konden Samische meisjes leren naaien. Dergelijke 'klederdrachtpoppen' worden ook wel door toeristen gekocht. |
