| Description |
English: Pont Dudodyn. The rickety footbridge across the incised Dudodyn and the beginning of the relentless grind up the back of Elidir Fawr. It consists underfoot of two old telegraph pole and some wire griding. The handrail, on one side only, is very loose.Can be nasty on a windy day with the river in flood and dogs to fetch over. Sheep, however, cross it quite nonchalantly when the hurdle (on the ground,left) is not being used to block the bridge end. In the middle ground right are the tipping ends of some of Dinorwig Quarry's slate tips and the distant hill is Moel Eilio (726m). |
