| Description |
English: Ponds and geese at Slimbridge The area around the main centre is dotted with ponds, with a mixture of captive species and wild visitors. At the back is a row of pollarded willows, behind which is the board-walk over a more marshy area. Great fun feeding the birds and getting a good close-up look. Here we have a group of Barnacle Geese behind a single Greylag Goose; both species over-winter at Slimbridge although most Barnacle Geese are feral here.
