| Description |
English: Pond near Weel, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. This is an artificial pond dug on farmland near Weel, it is what is called a 'borrow pit' and it's purpose is to serve as a source of construction material for the levees on the river Hull. I have seen Red Necked Grebe and Long-Tailed Duck there in the space of eighteen months. |
