Grooves to the left of the entrance at Aghaviller Church and towerhouse

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The origin of these grooves is debated, some think they are traces of people sharpening knives or swords, others think the stone dust from church buildings and court houses was considered having magical powers and collected thus. Others again believe the grooves are traces where people used to light their fire stones to lighten the lantern for the walk home.
