Notes 16 buttons (in total) from the 17th century Polish national male costume "żupan", belonging to Stanisław Piwo (d. 1649) - 5 gold and set with rubies, 5 with diamonds, and 6 made of gilded silver. Discovered in 1961 in the remains of the 11th century settlement in Skrwilno. Hidden during invasion of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth by neighbouring countries, known as the Deluge (1655-1660) by the owner Zofia Magdalena Loka.
