En laiton moulé, le pas de vis de fixation à la hampe est soudé à la base.

Marques, inscriptions, poinçons: "W / 1914" (avers), "FW / 1813" (revers).
Description iconographique:

Croix de Fer de 1ère classe de la 1ère Guerre Mondiale brochant sur une croix gammée "en mouvement", entourée de volutes se terminant en pointe au sommet arrondi. La partie inférieure est ornée, quant à elle, de feuilles de laurier et de chêne, ainsi que de glands.
