| Description |
English: Plough Inn, Builth Wells. The Plough Inn, Builth Wells on the corner of Brecon Road, as seen in 1991. The large building at the back was a former brewery. During WW2 this pub was a great favourite with the American troops camped nearby before D-Day. They would sit out in the pub garden with the local and evacuated children leaning over the walls hoping for candy and gum. |
