English: Sculpture "Gloria Victis", designed by Antonin Mercié. Placed at the roundabound between Boulevard Victor Hugo and Boulevard Aristide Briand in Châlons-en-Champagne in 1890. A gift by Don de Joseph Chevalier and made at Thiébaut Frères Fondeurs.
Français : C'est un monument en mémoire de la guerre franco-prussienne de 1870-1871. Sculpture d'Antonin Mercié et est un don J. Chevalier fait au musée de Chalons qui l'expose là. |
