日本語: 場所細胞と格子細胞。(a)場所細胞は,動物が環境のなかの特定の場所を通り抜けるときにのみ活動する.動物の移動の軌跡を灰色の線で,細胞の発火活動の位置を赤色の点で示す.場所細胞が発火を示す場所(赤色)を場所受容野とよぶ.場所受容野の位置は個々の場所細胞により異なる.
(b)グリッド細胞は,環境のなかの複数の場所で活動し,この場所が正三角形をしきつめた格子の頂点に位置する. |
