Summary[edit]

Description

The "Golden Triangle" area of downtown Pittsburgh, where the Allegheny (left) and Monongahela (right) Rivers meet to form the Ohio River (off the photo to the left). The viewpoint is Mount Washington, at the top of Duquesne Incline on the south bank of the Monongahela River in 1968. Point State Park, the former site of Fort Duquesne and Fort Pitt, is in the foreground.

My brother Loyd and his wife lived in the high-rise apartment just to the right of the tall gray building. As I remember, it overlooked The Igloo, a hockey arena, which is on another photo in this set.
