| Description |
Français : Pitotmètre directionnel, d'après document ASME. Si en tournant ce pitomètre autour de son axe on peut égaliser la pression captée par les deux trous extrêmes, le trou central est face à l'écoulement et doit donc indiquer la pression totale. Il suffit alors de soustraire à cette pression totale la pression d'un des deux trous extrêmes pour obtenir la pression dynamique de l'écoulement.
English: Directional pitmeter, according to an ASME document. If by turning this pitometer around its axis you can equalize the pressure sensed by the two extreme holes, the central hole is facing the flow and must therefore indicate the total pressure. It then suffices to subtract from this total pressure the pressure of one of the two extreme holes to obtain the dynamic pressure of the flow. |
