Original Image Name: Piciwiki_israel_67986_20200531_194518.jpg Notes: מגדל השעון ביפו הוא מגדל שעון שהוקם על ידי מוריץ שיינברג שען וצורף יהודי מיפו. המגדל שהוקם בשנת 1903 היה אחד מ-6 מגדלי שעון שנבנו בארץ ישראל לכבוד יובל 25 שנות כהונתו של הסולטאן העות39מאני עבדול חמיד השני. המגדל נבנה בעזרת תרומתם של תושבי העיר ערבים ויהודים ובראשם יוסף בק מויאל והוא אחד ממאה מגדלי שעון שנבנו ברחבי האימפריה העות39מאנית כולה. המגדל בנוי מאבן כורכר וצורתו מזכירה במעט כנסייה אירופית. בראש המגדל כיסוי נחושת שבו שני שעונים ופעמון המצלצל אחת לחצי שעה. -ויקיפדיה
