עברית: הדגם נבנה, בשנים 1962-1966, לפי פרשנותו של פרופסור מיכאל אבי-יונה לתיאוריו של יוסף בן מתתיהו. הדגם שכן עד שנת 2006בשטח מלון הולילנד שבשכונת בית וגן בירושלים, ולכן נקרא גם "דגם הולילנד".

בשנת 2006 שופץ הדגם, הותאם למחקרים חדשים (ראו להלן) והועבר, במבצע הנדסי מורכב, אל שטח מוזיאון ישראל
