Title
Piece of jet with palm leaf carving
Description
English: Cut piece of shale or jet decorated on one side with a palm branch. The branch is elongated and tapers to the tip. The lower part is missing. It is unclear whether the sides are broken and worn flat, or have been filed flat. Similar pieces of shale are known to decorate high-status pieces of furniture.
