English: The picquois is used for catching cod. Its curved head allows it to secure the catch on a wooden shaft. This picquois is a steel point (J-shaped) with a curved and tapered circular section at one of its ends. Its head, flattened and bent, forms a right angle. Alphonse Massé was a supplier of fishing equipment in Cancale. Length 27.8 cm, thickness approximately 1 cm.
