Summary[edit]

Clock Tower of Piazza Bra, in Verona. "Bra" is of Gothic origin, its original name being Braiths, later changed to "Braida" (local dialect). The twin archs lead to Via Porta Nuova, the street which takes this name from the Gate (not in the photo) made by architect Sammicheli in the Renaissance. Photo taken July 2005 by Wikipedius.
